SO WHAT’S A PRE-SESSION CONSULTATION?
This is where the excitement begins! We sit back and talk about what we can do for you to create the ideal session. When you book your session, we want to know everything about you and your family. So we can better plan your portrait session, we will talk about clothes and your excitations, what you would like to do with the images and where in your home your thinking about using them. We would love snapshots of those areas in your home also. When your session day arrives, we will have a plan, so everything goes smoothly, which means less stress for you.
WHEN DO I GET TO SEE THE IMAGES?
Within just a couple of weeks, you will receive an email from me letting you know that your photos are ready. Once you’ve had a chance to see your slid show and marvel for a bit, you will then purchase your collections. After that, you have a whole month to select the specific digital files and choose the items you would like to use for your print credit.
If you would like to see and feel the items before you order, don’t worry; I will bring them all to your session. That way, you can go through most of them and have a better idea of what you would like to display in your home. Geeking out over paper types and wall galleries is honestly one of my favorite parts of the job.
WHAT IF I ONLY WHAT A FEW SMALL PRINTS?
We are full service, high-quality studio. I spend an unlimited amount of time on your session, from photography to post-procession, and then provide you with the highest quality images to choose from. As for right now, this is the only photography option I have.
WHAT KIND OF INVESTMENT DO MOST FAMILIES MAKE?
Most of our clients who choose a portrait session invest anywhere from $500 to $1000 on their sessions. However, everyone’s needs are different, so some spend a little more, and some spend a little less.
WHY CAN IT BE SO EXPENSIVE?
Quality, custom photography by a specially-trained portrait artist is not for everyone and takes enormous time and creative commitment. We are priced in order to continue the premier service we provide to our clients. For example, there are discount stores, department stores, and boutiques. We are the “boutique” of photography studios. We come to you, so you don’t even have to leave home, and you will get fine art products and the service that goes along with it.
WHEN DO I GET TO BRING EVERYTHING HOME?
Quality takes time, so please allow four to five weeks from your order date to complete your order. Custom-designed albums and orders with framing will take longer. But it’s worth the wait.
